We have a company policy that health and safety is a top priority in our construction work. We recognize health and safety at work as an integral part of our business performance.
Top management is committed to a high level of occupational health and safety performance and will comply with all legal and contractual requirements. Adequate resources will be provided to implement this policy. Details of implementation will be elaborated in individual project health and safety plan.
All staff members and subcontractors shall fully understand that the health and safety management is one of the prime responsibilities of the management at all levels. For the purpose of ensuring that this policy is understood, implemented and maintained at all levels, Health and Safety Department were established and will often arrange appropriate training to ensure that our staff members and subcontractors are competent in carrying out their duties and responsibilities.
The project manager in each contract is accountable to the Organization Director for the overall coordination and implementation of the health and safety policy. He/She should set targets to achieve progressive improvement in standards for all risk areas and assign adequate resources, both financial and manpower, for implementation of the policy. Health and Safety personnel are responsible for providing functional expertise and advising line management on all matters relating to health and safety.
We shall keep the policy and the management system under periodic review and audit of compliance, with due consideration to improve.
Health and safety performance are reflected in the half-yearly Safety Audit Report and the result of which will set the target for continuous improvement.
Our health and safety policy will be reviewed annually with staff members' participation so as to secure their commitment and implementation.
Any change in the policy and matters relating to health and safety should be brought to staff members' and
subcontractors’attention by proper display and training.
