For a Company like Southa, attracting and retaining highly qualified people to work for the Company and offering them the right development opportunities is therefore an on-going imperative. Continuation is the key of success; this depends very much on the young staff who has spirit of advancement.

After the booming property market came to an end at the turn of the Century, the local building industry has become increasingly competitive. As the saying goes “when the going’s tough, the tough gets going” when many of our lesser competitor cease to exist, Southa thanks largely to solid foundation built over the years, moves on from strength to strength, as can be seen from both our increasing turnover and employee’s growth. With contracts spreading over a lot more engineering fields than solely relied upon building electrical and HVAC works.

業者也大有人在,在汰弱留強之形勢下,南龍憑根基穩固脫穎而出,在二十一世紀取得工程之質與量,均比對有所增長。更可喜的是業務更趨多元化,脫離依重屋宇設備工程之局。

Sometimes it is really hard to explain clearly what has happened since things in our life change so quickly. When you start to understand a bit more, time has already flown. When I look at Southa Group, which is going to celebrate its 25th anniversary, I feel so deeply about this.

The Southa Group has given me the most exciting 15 years of my working career. To complete my active working life associated with my co-directors and ALL the staff and friends at Southa has been a pleasant and rewarding time. To remember the continuous growth pattern from C C Wu Building to Dah Sing to Paramount gives a true indication of the growth path of the Company.

廿五年,在歷史時間軸線上不過一剎那,對現代人來說則不算短了。部份得天厚愛者,一生工作時間也大約如此而矣!企業理論上沒有自然生命之限,可以延續數百年,現存世上亦確有不少案例。細心觀之,其實不過如人之代代相傳;爺父子孫可共用一名,無論如何緊繫同一套文化及價值觀,言行必不盡相同。企業亦無可避免地跟隨核心成員更替而不斷進化(或退化)。招牌或許百年如一,實質可視作一代成員一個企業。
